RecruitR Pty Ltd is a young, dynamic, Queensland-based recruitment company. They match the right people with the right organisation and provide on-going human resources and recruitment advice to employers and employees.

Highlights
RecruitR used the Pulsevo Strategic Planning program to develop a strategic plan for 2008-2011. They are also involved in the Pulsevo Business Coaching program to measure financial performance and obtain on-going advice on strategic business issues to help them achieve their strategic goals.

The challenge area
RecruitR’s owners, Clinton and Simone Moore and Mahlah Ludkens, started RecruitR after successful recruitment consultant careers with a large multi-national company.

Driven by the desire to emulate and surpass other recruitment companies, RecruitR Pty Ltd needed a Pulsevo Strategic Plan that outlined discreet strategies and projects to enable them as owners to work ‘on’ rather than ‘in’ the business.

How we helped
With the Pulsevo Strategic Planning program, our team helped clarify RecruitR’s business vision and strategy by:

  • developing the core values and purpose of the organisation;
  • performing a value chain and SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis to document current service areas and discover new service area opportunities;
  • clarifying the organisational structure, individual roles and responsibilities; and
  • using the whole of business balanced scorecard approach to set three year, one year and quarterly goals.

    With the Pulsevo Business Coaching program we continue to work with RecruitR by:

    • analysing their financial and non-financial data to measure monthly performance;
    • providing a monthly analysis report capturing the outcomes and any recommendations in relation to the above mentioned analysis; and
    • meeting with the three owners and other key management team members to discuss the analysis report, progress against implementation of the Pulsevo Strategic Plan targets, and discuss solutions to overcoming any issues or opportunities that have arisen.
