Responding to turbulent economic times

The purpose of the Responding to Turbulent Economic Times poll was to identify trends in how business people are responding to the turbulent economic climate, and the tactics business people are using to prepare their organisations for the challenges ahead.
This poll was completed by 40 attendees of the BDO Kendalls Reviewing Workforce Requirements and the Responding to Turbulent Economic Times seminars, held on 26 February 2009 and 3 March 2009 respectively. Given the small sample population, the results are not truly generalisable, however the results do provide some insight into the sentiment of business people at this point in time.
Respondents included Directors, Executives, and Managers from Finance, Administration and Human Resource functions. Respondents worked in organisations in the Health care, Construction, Recruitment, Motor Vehicle, Advertising, Professional services, Financial and Insurance services, and Retail industries.
